Timothy A. Miller, MDTimothy A. Miller, M.D. has spent nearly four decades training doctors and surgeons at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where he is now Chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a fully tenured professor. He has published over ninety scholarly articles and has written more than forty textbook chapters. He has served on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation.

He was also the Director of the American Society of Plastic Surgery from 1991 to 1997. He served during Vietnam (1965-1966) and was awarded the Bronze Star. From 1973 to 2006 he served as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at the West Los Angeles Veterans Administration Medical Center. He continues to serve his country by founding Operation Mend- a unique program between Brooke Army Medical Center and the Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center that provides reconstructive plastic surgery for US military wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.
