About James P. Bradley Dr. Bradley is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon specializing in facial reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery and pediatric plastic surgery. Dr. Bradley's office is located at the well-known Ronald Reagan UCLA medical center where he serves patients from all over the world.
Dr. Bradley received his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Notre Dame after studying Anthropology and Art. In Philadelphia, he received his Medical Degree at Thomas Jefferson Medical College and trained in Surgery at Pennsylvania Hospital. In Manhattan, he completed his plastic surgery training at the prestigious Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, New York University and his cosmetic surgery training at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hosptial. In Los Angeles, he then did additional training in Craniofacial Surgery at UCLA. In Pittsburgh, he directed the Craniofacial Surgery Program and was the Chief of Pediatric Plastic Surgery at the University for several years before returning to Los Angeles. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
At UCLA, Dr. Bradley became the first person to occupy the Benard Sarnat Chair in Craniofacial Research. His active laboratory investigates bone tissue engineering, cranial suture biology and improved methods of distraction osteogenesis. He continues to publish scientific articles, edit journals, present as an invited lecturer and teach residents and fellows. Clinically, Dr. Bradley is the Chief of Pediatric Plastic Surgery at UCLA and the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Olive-View Medical Center. He participates in the craniofacial-cleft lip and palate clinics at UCLA, Orthopedic Hospital, Kaiser Permanente-West Los Angeles, Olive-View Medical Center and Harbor-UCLA.
Dr. Bradley has a strong interest in not-for-profit foundation work aimed at supporting children with facial birth deformities.
As a plastic surgeon he is know for his attention to detail and working with his patients to achieve their goals. Dr. Bradley specializes in facelifts, browlifts , otoplasty, rhinoplasty and various facial injectables.
